RabbieBurns Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 When i was a kid we were on holiday in wellingborough at Easter. We bought some raffle tickets in the local shopping center for an Easter raffle, and ended up winning. We collected our prize at a local newspaper office and were featured in the local paper at the time. Does anyone know which paper it might have been? Im looking to get a copy of the article. Google lists a few: Northamptonshire Telegraph HeraldandPost Northamptonshire and Northants Extra Newspapers
synaesthesia Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 More than likely the Evening Telegraph, which is now a weekly paper. Possibly the herald. Is there something you'd like me to keep an eye out for?
RabbieBurns Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 Im just looking to get a copy of the article and photo that was taken, from the paper's archives.. It would been in like 1990 or something!
synaesthesia Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Ah, not something I'll have lying around then The ET's office are usually really helpful with things like that but I suspect there may be an admin fee.
RabbieBurns Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 is there a website for the evening telegraph please?
sparkeh Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Ooh this brings back memories. Do they still do the thing where they hide a little character somewhere in the paper to find?
