Graphics Tablet that works with Win 8

We have a few Hanvon wl0604m graphics tablets in our maths department. Now, while the hanvon website lists a windows 8 driver, they do not work. Windows recognizes the device but always installs a generic MS mouse driver, even if I manually update the driver, the result is the same, device listed in DM but they do not work at all.

 

So, my task is to find some replacements, after searching the net I cannot find any that specifically state that they work in Win 8. Does anyone on here have any that they have seen working in Win 8?
