Proxy Pac exception

I think this is an easy one for someone who does this alot

 

I have a spiceworks server SERVER-01

 

I access it using port 1234

 

We are using IE9 and I can't get the exception to work I have been trying

 

if (isPlainHostName(host) ||	shExpMatch(host, "Server-01-01:1234"))
       return "DIRECT";

 

I have also tried

 

if (dnsDomainIs(host, "Server-01*"))
       return "DIRECT";

 

The top one works with Firefox and Chrome but not IE9, any ideas

Try:

if (shExpMatch(host,"Server-01-01:1234*"))
{ return "DIRECT"; }

Thanks for the reply. I have got it working and to be honest I have gone back to what I had originally. So I am completely confused as to why it wouldn't work then it did.

 

But its working
