Ok, Thank You. I have unfortunally wiped all my network and all the SIMS files have gone  including the setup files to install SIMS .net again. Will the SIMSApplicationSetup.exe etc be on the Support Net as well? Because I am not a school, I am a support team who helps people out in network etc, So I dont want to get in touch with Capita.

What is my next step to get SIMS since I have never had it on the server?

Cheers

Sounds fishy. If you've wiped all of SIMS, you'd lost the database - if you've lost the database, you've lost all the schools pupil, staff records and you won't be working in a school anymore!! A school can't open without certain information - such as pupil lists and emergency contacts.

Schools shouldn't let any person or company, not matter how much of a "pro" they are near SIMS or any MIS system unless they have had training and have a support contract with the MIS supplier. Fine, SIMS is just a .NET application with a MSSQL backend - but the devil is in the detail and it's the detail that causes the problems and you can't have problems with such a vital system.

Get the school who you are "working" for to contact Capita. The school will not mind helping a legitimate request, neither will Capita.
