Google Earth Issue

Hello,

 

Our planning team use Google Earth quite frequently, I imaged a couple of the PCs recently and re-installed Google Earth back on the machines. I am getting the following errors, the obvious stated solutions I have tried such as installing Direct X 9.0c and installing flash player.

 

Error Message 1 = 'DirectX' Mode not supported

NOTE: if the "Login Status" is blocking access to this window then do the following: click on the login window, press Alt-F4 (or 'esc' key on Mac)., then read the message below.

 

Google Earth could not start in 'DirectX' mode. It is suggested you exit and start Google Earth again after trying one of the following suggestions. If none of them work, you can try 'OpenGL' mode.

 

1) Set color depth to "True Color (32 bit) in display properties (Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel ->Display ->Settings Tab)

2) Start Google Earth after waiting a minute

3) Close other applications (Particulary if they use 3D)

4) Download and install DirectX 9.0c or above by following the link below.

 

Error Message 2 = Strongly Recommended 'DirectX'

Please complete the login window first if it's shown in front.

Upon investigation, we find that your particular graphics card does not support Google Earth in 'OpenGL' mode. You are likely to encounter severe problems with Google Earth if you proceed. We apologise for the inconvienience but would like to switch you to 'DirectX' Mode. Do you want to follow this recommendation? YES / NO
