Shared events management? Outlook or something else?

Hi All,

We are currently looking at how we can have a member of staff ask to add something to our current school calendar. This would enable somebody to add it to the electronic one in outlook with requests to certain staff to provide caretaking, IT etc. However we would want a group of people to be able to edit the event to fill in the blanks later on so that everybody can see what has been done and what needs to be done.
