Found this in my mailbox this morning:

 

Starting 1 June 2013

 

Salary scale: PO4 (£34,549 - £37,206 pa)

 

The salary is as advised by Leeds City Council Pay and Grading and is not negotiable.

 

Location: Leeds, North Leeds, Yorkshire, UK.

 

Allerton High School is a highly successful and innovative BSF 11-18 school that is currently moving away from a managed service. We require someone who will lead us through the handover process and then develop our whole school’s ICT infrastructure to deliver exciting changes in both teaching and learning. Consequently, we wish to recruit an ICT Manager who will play a significant and strategic role in this ongoing development.

 

Duties of the ICT Manager (IT Manager, ICT Manager)

 

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of:

 

• Leading the provision of reliable and efficient ICT infrastructure and services

• Provide reactive, proactive change and strategic ICT support functions

• Provide strategic leadership for ICT services and line management of technicians

• Responding to and resolving system failures

 

 

Skill requirements of the ICT Manager (IT Manager, ICT Manager).

 

Technical Knowledge - Desirable

 

• VMware Vsphere 4

• Citrix XenApp 6/XenDesktop 5

• Apple IOS

• CISCO Networking

• HP SAN

My apologies, I know I shouldn't, but this line did make me chuckle ;)

 

In all seriousness, If I was closer to Leeds I'd seriously consider it. As it stands I want to print this off and show my Head the salary...
