Can anyone help remove the auto detect settings tick in IE9. Our clients are flooding the network with broadcasts for WPAD!!>!?!?!

GPO says it is supposed to be (IE maintenance) but it makes no difference.

Hi

Are your gpo settings applying is the question, and if not why not.

Try modeling and results in group policy management.

Try rsop.msc on the client and see if it gives you any errors and what it comes up with.

Check the event logs and see if there are any errors.

Have you checked you are using the correct adm for your version of internet explorer?

Policies are applying fine, the tickbox doesn't seem to make any odds though. I will check the ADM versions though. Can you confirm that you are using Windows 7 w/ IE9 and the box is unticked?
