pettit87 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I am setting up a SCCM 2012 server. I would like to enable reporting but have read it is advised this runs on a separate SQL server. Is anyone doing this? We have 1000 machines and 1300 users...could I enable reporting on the same server as SCCM?
deano Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I run my reporting from the same box and have no issues (1000 clients and 2000 users). I think that you would need to move the reporting to another vox if you have a CAS setup with multiple MPs, but definitely not for a single primary server setup. One thing to note about the reporting, it can be very slow within the sccm console. Some people recommend using the web page view of reporting services
