Dell UPS On ESXi 5.1

This is sort of harware based but at the same time sort of virtual.

 

I'm trying to configure a Dell UPS to connect to my ESXi host. I've got the ULNM installed on a vSphere Management Assistant machine but I can't get it to see the UPS. (Can't get the windows version to see it either)

 

Now here's the real question, can it see a UPS that's plugged in via USB? Should it be able to and I've done something wrong or missed a step in the instructions. The UPS Hasn't got a network card in so I can't plug it into the network...

OK, ignore me got it.

 

Needed to add a USB Device into the VM config, not USB hub.
