fiza Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Never played with Sophos Enterprise Console but I need to add in exceptions for SIMS. I know I need to add the SIMS folder on the server but what else should I add?
Rawns Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Most of our schools in the LA use Sophos and as far as I'm aware, no exceptions have been set up for SIMS related data. I would assume that you would want the whole system monitored?
staningrimsby Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 We put an exception in for the CSC as this used to cause problems when staff took laptops home, nothing to do with SIMS but just FYI.

vikpaw Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 On the SIMS share, i would change the settings to on modify rather than the more common on read / on access if that's how you've set it up. Really speeds up load times for a folder that is hardly every modified anyway, especially the setups folder.
