AUP causing deployment to halt on Win7

If the AUP group policy is enabled for a machine, the LiteTouch post-install script doesn't run (or rather, it does intermittently).

 

The computer will get to the 'press enter if you accept....' screen, waiting on user input. You press ok, and it loads the desktop and sits there.

 

I know it's the AUP policy as disabling it resolves the issue 100% of the time.

 

Is there another policy that should be enabled to fix this (or an MDT setting I need to tick?).

I don't think there are any settings that can help with this. You would have to look at applying the AUP with a script that checks to see if deployment has finished, or look to somehow script a move of the computer object from a build area OU (without AUP configured) to a production area OU.

Any reason you don't just apply the joining of domain last, or apply a WMI filter to the AUP so it doesn't deploy to computers still in deployment stage?

That should work. Or check for the absence of the MININT folder if you can do that with a WMI filter.
