pjhunt Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 Hi All, I seem to be going round in circles trying to write a pac file, We use exa networks and need to filter via the ad route which I can do via a pac file but when I do this it completely breaks in touch communication in sims, Has anyone seen this before or would anyone mind sharing there pac file with me?
mavhc Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 function FindProxyForURL(url, host) { if(dnsDomainIs(host, "127.0.0.1") || isInNet(host, "10.0.0.0", "255.0.0.0") || isInNet(host, "192.168.0.0", "255.255.0.0") || dnsDomainIs(host, ".school.local") || isPlainHostName(host)) { //alert("Local, therefore DIRECT"); return "DIRECT"; } else { //alert("Not local"); if (isInNet(myIpAddress(), "10.1.2.0", "255.255.255.0")) { if (timeRange(10,30,0,10,45,0) || timeRange(12,30,0,13,15,0)) //if (timeRange(9,30,0,9,45,0,"GMT") || timeRange(11,30,0,12,15,0,"GMT")) { return "PROXY 10.1.2.3:8080"; } else { return "PROXY ad.quantum.exa-networks.co.uk:3128"; } } if (isInNet(myIpAddress(), "10.2.2.0", "255.255.255.0")) { if (timeRange(10,30,0,10,45,0) || timeRange(12,30,0,13,15,0)) //if (timeRange(9,30,0,9,45,0,"GMT") || timeRange(11,30,0,12,15,0,"GMT")) { return "PROXY 10.2.2.3:8080"; } else { return "PROXY ad.quantum.exa-networks.co.uk:3128"; } } } //alert ("Should not get here") return "DIRECT"; } Extra parts in there to send via a different proxy during break/dinner so they can play games (with fun DST things), but in general add the domain name/ip of things you want to go DIRECT to the 3rd line. This assumes your app that's having issues is reading the file, which may not be the case 1
