sparkeh Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 (edited) Just tried to access this thread: Joint Press Release NAACE- Of one mind: ICT in Education is important! Returned an error saying I didn't have permission to view it, however I accessed it the other day and I can see the last reply is by another user. It says it is in 'Forums: vBCms Comments" but if I click on that it returns and error saying "Invalid forum specified" Bug or thread deleted and still showing up or something? elsiegee40 Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Variation on a theme - I get "sorry you do not have permission..."
leco Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I noticed this also, if in the Forum column it states vBcms as the forum there's no way in. However, if you can find the thread somewhere else (maybe on the front page) then you can get in. ZH is aware I believe. 2
elsiegee40 Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 You are right - you can get to it from the Home page (I'm hardly ever on that page!)... so I've read the statement now
sparkeh Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Oh yeah its accessible from the front page. Thanks!
ZeroHour Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Yeh in 4.0.4 they wrote code that overrides permissions (which you all have to get in there) and locks out the comments forum. The lovely thing is they never logged it in the changelogs, joy. I am trying to get it sorted to filter those posts out to prevent the issue. Cheers
ZeroHour Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Hi I have removed the code that vbulletin added to block access so it should be fixed for now. Cheers
