EXA_Mark Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Each year at BETT we have a dedicated part of the Exa stand for NON sales (not even Exa related) presentations. This year we have some really world class speakers, from the likes of David Thomas (Memory world record holder), Oliver Quinlan, Alan O'Donohoe, Su Adams, Chris Copeman, Cat Lamin, Katharine Childs, Leon Cych, Tim Head, Rachel Jones, Chris Kale & Andrew Mulholland, and that is just the Friday lineup! The full four day timetable can be found here. http://exa.education/pdf/bett_timetable_2016.pdf and a summary of some of the speakers here http://exa.education/pdf/bett_newsletter.pdf In total we have more than 40 individual sessions, all lasting around 30 mins (including Q&A) but I am sure many of the speakers will be hanging around afterwards for you to ask them more questions. Unfortunately we won't have the ability to record the talks this year (we will next I promise) so if you are going, do try and stop by. And we do not try and sell you anything whilst you are there at the presentations. It is in its own area of the stand, we side entrance and exit. Of course you are welcome to come onto the rest of the stand and speak to us if we can help or you have questions about Exa. The speakers are all there, and give their time for free, because they are passionate about helping others learn, as are we. Many of the speakers will be appearing at Exa Foundation conferences throughout the country, throughout the year, and again, they do this for free. If you are not going but know someone else who is, and you think that these presentations might be useful for them, please do pass on our timetable and stand number, B160, front row, just to the left of the N4 entrance, our stand will be very easy to spot, I promise. For freebie hunters sorry but we are not giving anything away such as USB's or squeezy balls, as we put the effort into the presentations instead, something that we hope will be more useful long term, but we do have hot & cold drinks at our bar for anyone visiting the stand or presentations. Hope to see some of you there.
