Just to let you know Windows 8.1 (and probably 8) does not work without some tweaking on Free2Teach networks

It is due to the Local NTFS Permissions GPO. This needs to be removed to any OU that will have Windows 8 or 8.1 machines in it. I would recommend they are put in their own Organisational Unit and the NTFS Permissions GPO removed from ALL Computers and added to individual OUs and not the Win 8 one.

The Metro Tiles\Apps rely on specific permissions and the GPO replaces permission with "Everyone" having Full Control on root of C:\ Drive.
