NetSupport School v11.00.0 and ATI onboard graphics

Hi,

 

RE: NSS v11 on WinXP SP3 clients, self-built using Asus M4A78LTM-LE boards that use ATI Radeon 3000 onboard graphics.

 

After no end of trouble using machines with AMD/ATI chipsets, I am about to restrict our IT purchasing to Intel and Nvidia chipsets only as I NEVER have any NetSupport-related issues using non-AMD/ATI chipsets

 

NetSupport's stock response is "use screen scrape, and yes we know that AMD drivers are rubbish" which doesn't help me in the slightest.

 

Does anybody have any tips or suggestions on how to get NSS v11 and AMD/ATI VGA drivers to play nicely together?

UPDATE: The new NSS v11.00.001 fixes a lot of these problems - if you are having similar issues I advise to download asap!

Having issues since upgrading to v10 on dell gx280 intel video cards on board

 

Screen scrape works but if you do not use it we get a number of machines crashing when the teacher uses the show option

Clients screen goes grey with 2 sliders bottom and left have to turn off the machine to clear

 

Support say use screen scrape but the option can not be set to default.

 

Very poor

You get a cracking deal if you tell them you want to move away from net support
