    DNS routing problem.

    Hi,

We have just had a moodle server setup and hosted on our network, the server is accessable from the internet using our external domain name which is forwarded by the domain hosts to the server on the network. The problem I am having is that when I try to access the moodle server using the internal IP to access it inside the network I get no formatting, graphics etc. The reason is that the moodle is only configured to read info requested from the moodle url and not the IP. As per normal we are unable to go out and come back into the network through the firewall.

What changes do I have to make to DNS so that when someone inside the network types the moodle url it send it to the internal IP and the server thinks its orginatng from the moodle URL.

    Thanks

    Solved it,

Created a new Zone for the external domain and then created an A record pointing to the internal server, now working.!!
