Exclamation Zamzar - no longer able to convert YouTube videos

Unfortunately Zamzar will no longer be as useful as it once was... as Google have requested that they no longer offer YouTube video conversion as a service.

Full details and request from Google can be found here.

Discovered this yesterday, found vid2mp4.net which does a similar job.

    No, they didn't.

They asked them to stop allowing people to download videos without a download link.

Zamzar responded by removing the software and making out that big-bad Google ordered them to do it.

Also, and I loved this bit [from a tech support point of view], "We realise that the ability to download and view YouTube videos locally will be missed by many of you (especially teachers)".

No. Jesus Christ... How many times have they been told?

You. Aren't. Allowed. To. Download. Youtube. Videos.

These are people with degrees. People in charge of shaping the minds of children. You'd think they would understand the what "NO" means.

Perhaps I should switch to "Das ist verbotten."

It took me a minute to realise you meant a pill... not a tablet PC.
