ICT DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Six months Fixed Term contract, Full time: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill, northwest London, and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 830 boys study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses. An opportunity has arisen for an ICT Database Administrator to provide support for all users of the School’s administrative and academic databases. They will maintain all aspects of the databases and regularly advise on the effectiveness of the School’s database usage. There will also be the opportunity to assist the Director of IT in the future development of the databases, provide reports to aid decision-making, and liaise with external database suppliers/support organisations.
This role will suit someone who has in depth knowledge and experience of the iSAMS management information system, SQL Server, and excellent interpersonal skills. They will enjoy working within a friendly, supportive and cohesive team, in a variety of interesting and historic buildings, and being part of the life of our vibrant School.
