  1. Indeed I have and also run it as a domain admin, local admin and a domain user. It can be run manually from file explorer but just not from power shell.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate that I don't perhaps need the module but I have tried it with and without just to check. We have about 20 sites all of which are on Server 2016 with 7 Zip in C:\Program Files. What I'm struggling with is why two just won't run but the other 18 will. Hoping it's something obvious
  3. I have a backup script which is causing me some consternation and would be grateful for some input / help. The script is a loop that cycles through files in a folder, compresses and encrypts them. I use this script across a number of sites and it works in all but two and I cannot see why it's failing at 2. The code runs, the file name is created but the file size stays at zero and the script never moves on. The CPU isn't being taxed so it's just stuck. These are the same constants across all the sites - 7 Zip Module installed in Power shell using Install-Module -Name 7Zip4PowerShell -Verbose - Server OS is 2016 Standard The code is below. cd $TargetFolderdir | ForEach-Object { & "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" a -p"$SQLKey" -tzip ($_.Name+".zip") $_.Name } I have tried running it as a user, domain admin and local admin. I'm hoping I have missed installing a module somewhere. Thanks
  4. I wasn't aware of the RM stand alone. I do know that EXA offer it and it is something we are considering as the pricing structure is very good.
  5. Hi thanks for the reply can you PM me. Thanks
  6. We currently use a combination of RM Safety Net and EXA Surf Protect at a number of schools. A change to line provision means that we will need to look at alternatives for content filtering. We use Lightspeed at one school and like the product. However, Lightspeed seem to be withdrawing their hardware solution and pushing their new Relay system. Has anyone used Relay and feedback would be helpful. I appreciate their are alternatives and feedback on those would also be helpful. This is for Primary Schools. Thanks
  7. That's a keen price, where from ?
  8. AP AC Pro and we pay £96.20 each from Transparent. Struggling to get them at that price or cheaper from others at the moment. To be honest we will probably stick with them as they have always been good in terms of delivery and price.
  9. Thanks for the replies, I've shopped about and sent off requests for quotes as they are somewhat higher than I usually pay albeit my order is only 20 units.
  10. Thanks for the suggestion of LinITX but their website prices are higher than Amazon which isn't good. I will give them a call later as we have a WiFi refresh to do and need to get some pricing.
  11. We have been buying Unifi for years and can’t fault the product. We use a company called Transparent Communications, like the other two mentioned they are always up for deal. https://transparent-uk.com/
