  1. Hi, I presently have a server running 2016 Essentials. It is used in a home office environment with 3 clients. I am looking to upgrade it to either Server 2019 Essentials or Server 2019 Standard. I understand that Server 2019 Essentials is possibly gong to be the last Essentials version so should I take the plunge now and go with Standard? If I go with Standard can I still do all of the following tasks with it? It runs Serviio for media streaming File & print sharing Domain Controller VPN access - Remote Desktop Services WSUS to update all client PC's NFS on one drive for CCTV storage Exchange is handled by Office 365 DHCP for everything on the network As I only have the one server (got backups!) is it best to reformat and install or do an in-place upgrade? Would an in-place upgrade work with either version of Server 2019? If I go Standard do I need to purchase CAL's for the 3 clients? Sorry for all the questions, its just I would like to be prepared before I tackle this upgrade!
