About Tyrantulas

  1. "msiexec /i SMARTEducationSoftware.msi /qn" Doesn't seem to do anything... it just immediately dumps you back at the command prompt.
  2. If you don't remove the "/i" you just get a dialog box explaining all the command line switches... if you pull out the TRANSFORM command, it gives other strange errors. Am I using TRANSFORMS in the proper way?
  3. I used the Smart Install Manager to create a custom .mst file with our organization's serial and prefered install options, but can't seem to figure out how to actually execute it from a command line. msiexec.exe /i /a C:\Temp\SmartNotebook\SMARTEducationSoftware.msi TRANSFORM=C:\Temp\SmartNotebook\CUSTOM.mst Leaving that "/i" in there seems to make it come up with a dialog box with a list of command line switches... The best I've gotten so far is error messages. Reading the support documents, it seems like the Smart Install Manager is supposed to let you build a customized MSI file for doing the install... but I sure can't figure out how it's supposed to do that. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you!
