This is Mark Altman - it's been suggested I post information on here to clarify the situation with regard to AIT's liquidation and my involvement - or should I say lack of involvement ... I can understand some scepticism about the name "Altman" cropping up again, so hope I can give some more detail on the history and provide peace of mind to anyone who thought this was a good script for the next episode of rogue traders! Please contact me directly if you have any concerns but first I will try and give a little history that hopefully explains how we ended up where we are today. We're offering to support all AIT customers as far as we can, so please spread the word that we can be contacted if anyone has any issues - my email address is
[email protected] … mobile 07980 803945.
With regard to my previous involvement and association with AIT, I used to run Altman Integrated Technologies Ltd before merging with a company called ICS back in 2010 – I then left the business at the end of 2012 and started a new business (Altman IM) focusing on workflow and document automation.
My old company’s name became AIT – the “A” being “Advanced” but the “Altman Integrated Technologies was still kept at a subsidiary and I understand was the main trading arm of the group.
Since AIT went into liquidation, we’ve been appointed distributors formally by AND Technologies (developers of Pcounter, based in the U.S.), also distributors for Pcounter Europe who operate in mainland Europe for Pcounter and develop their own range of software to work with Pcounter – and also EveryonePrint (based in Denmark) who offer mobile/cloud print solutions, to work with and alongside Pcounter.
http://www.pcounter.com has a brief announcement on their home page about our appointment – and you are welcome to contact Pcounter Europe and EveryonePrint via their web sites to confirm our representation.
There are a number of other academic sites, where I am known and that could act as a reference for us, if that would help? Also, we’re known by a number of the print/copy vendors who we work closely with.
Our focus is on the provision and support of print and copy cost control solutions, as well as automated workflow and document management. Our solutions offer the potential for dramatic cost savings in any operational environment – so we’d welcome the opportunity to discuss any of these areas when appropriate.
If anyone needs to contact the liquidator, his name is Rob Keyes -
[email protected]. Anyone who has paid maintenance in advance may be able to stake a claim as a creditor.
Once again, please do contact me directly if you'd like more information or if you want help with your current AIT solutions. We would welcome the opportunity to help.
