  1. Hi Norbert I think there is a misunderstanding on this - as far as we know, we've quoted the same pricing, or lower, for like for like maintenance cover on any Pcounter related maintenance, since we took over the distribution of Pcounter. We've been providing free support since AIT went into liquidation on the basis of renewing maintenance with customers at their next anniversary of the original contract. I have also posted on here previously to clarify that I had personally no involvement with AIT since I left that business in 2012, although I appreciate my name was still linked with that organisation for obvious reasons. Could you contact me directly to resolve this as this is not something that I'm aware of and I am unable to trace which maintenance renewal you're referring to. Please be assured that we will not charge any more than you have been charged previously - I am wondering if other elements of the solution were included possibly? I can be contacted via email on [email protected] or by mobile on 07980 803945. Many thanks. Regards Mark Altman
  2. Just wanted to add that support is being offered free of charge until customers' next maintenance anniversary date - we are seeking to agree renewals of maintenance early but nobody is being asked to pay more than they would have done under normal circumstances on an annual basis. There is no commitment required before asking us for help - we are offering support in good faith to anyone who needs assistance. Support requests can be logged via http://www.pcounter.tech or by email to [email protected]
  3. Hi again ... I'd posted previously to explain what has happened with regard to AIT ... and my previous involvement, which ceased in 2012. Support for Pcounter is now available via ourselves - [email protected] - for all Pcounter customers. This is a legitimate operation, authorised by the developers of all the solutions we represent. Please feel free to get in touch with us ... or the developers directly if you need any further reassurances. My previous post gave detailed history of what has happened - and also details of the liquidator who customers may wish to contact also. The new Pcounter UK and Ireland web site is live at www.pcounter.net and our organisation web site is www.altmanim.com My direct email is [email protected] and mobile is 07980 803945 We look forward to hearing from anyone who has support issues or any questions.
  4. This is Mark Altman - it's been suggested I post information on here to clarify the situation with regard to AIT's liquidation and my involvement - or should I say lack of involvement ... I can understand some scepticism about the name "Altman" cropping up again, so hope I can give some more detail on the history and provide peace of mind to anyone who thought this was a good script for the next episode of rogue traders! Please contact me directly if you have any concerns but first I will try and give a little history that hopefully explains how we ended up where we are today. We're offering to support all AIT customers as far as we can, so please spread the word that we can be contacted if anyone has any issues - my email address is [email protected] … mobile 07980 803945. With regard to my previous involvement and association with AIT, I used to run Altman Integrated Technologies Ltd before merging with a company called ICS back in 2010 – I then left the business at the end of 2012 and started a new business (Altman IM) focusing on workflow and document automation. My old company’s name became AIT – the “A” being “Advanced” but the “Altman Integrated Technologies was still kept at a subsidiary and I understand was the main trading arm of the group. Since AIT went into liquidation, we’ve been appointed distributors formally by AND Technologies (developers of Pcounter, based in the U.S.), also distributors for Pcounter Europe who operate in mainland Europe for Pcounter and develop their own range of software to work with Pcounter – and also EveryonePrint (based in Denmark) who offer mobile/cloud print solutions, to work with and alongside Pcounter. http://www.pcounter.com has a brief announcement on their home page about our appointment – and you are welcome to contact Pcounter Europe and EveryonePrint via their web sites to confirm our representation. There are a number of other academic sites, where I am known and that could act as a reference for us, if that would help? Also, we’re known by a number of the print/copy vendors who we work closely with. Our focus is on the provision and support of print and copy cost control solutions, as well as automated workflow and document management. Our solutions offer the potential for dramatic cost savings in any operational environment – so we’d welcome the opportunity to discuss any of these areas when appropriate. If anyone needs to contact the liquidator, his name is Rob Keyes - [email protected]. Anyone who has paid maintenance in advance may be able to stake a claim as a creditor. Once again, please do contact me directly if you'd like more information or if you want help with your current AIT solutions. We would welcome the opportunity to help.
  5. Pcounter is now being distributed a new organisation ... Altman IM... please note this is not connected with AIT, despite myself, Mark Altman, being involved. I left AIT 6 years ago and was contacted about the liquidation of my old company to try and rescue things. We have now agreements to represent Pcounter so we would love to hear from anyone using Pcounter ... please register your details by emailing us at [email protected] ... myself, Sam Lindley and Chris Terrington have all been involved with Pcounter for many years and look forward to rebuilding the community. The core solution is still being actively developed and there are a lot of cost effective complementary solutions ... so the future is assured. We look heard to working with anyone who needs support or has additional requirements.
