Would anyone be able to solve a problem for me:
We have parent's email and telephone numbers in section 4 on SIMS and also in section 5. I do know that Parent's information should not be inputted into section 4.
We have an issue whereby Intouch has failed to send out some messages and when I have looked into it, I have noticed that:
There is no school email address for the student, only the parent's email address is listed there.
the email address has no for main and yes for primary but in section 5 they have yes ticked by both.
What is the protocol for SIMS regarding intouch? can both parent's be ticked as primary and main in order to receive intouch notification or does one have to be primary and the other main?
I have found this all confusing but cannot find any clear instructions. The network team are awaiting a response from Capita.
