IT Support Technician
Full Time
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,328 to £42,701 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The post holder supports and enhances learning, teaching, research and a range of IT administrative processes for department within the faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Laws and the School of Slavonic & East European studies. Works closely with colleagues in the Information Services Division (ISD).
Responsibilities as a summary will vary and include:
IT Service delivery and management for the IT provision for staff and students within the School.

Key Requirements
Applications holding a degree or equivalent with skills and experience in IT services are preferred. You should also have an excellent understanding of Information Technology Client Devices, Audio-visual and proficient in supporting both a Microsoft Windows and mac Os environments. You should process an excellent working knowledge of common application packages and technologies e.g. MS Office 365, Email Client (Exchange), Active Directory and networking.
You should have excellent customer service skills, a passion for innovation as well as new technology and be able to demonstrate your ability in IT together with relevant experience in supporting users with a range of IT equipment and software.
