Off chance? It was announced and in beta. I do not see how that qualifies as 'off chance.' Also $500 =/= $2,500+ "I'm sure you can afford to buy..." You have some insight into my budget? Since you seem to think you do, I probably do not need to tell you that the monitors were purchased with donation specifically for that purpose. We're a private school, so funds are always hard to come by.

LOL, same boat here. I bought three 22" monitors for the teacher machines in the labs in anticipation of Lanview 4 and the VNC Slideshow.

Glad to see someone is working on iTalc for Vista. I was really looking forward to MST's Lanview 4 and greatly disappointed to see them abandon their user base. I contacted the iTalc developer in December regarding Vista and he said he had no motivation to work on the project and that Vista support may come along "somewhen in 2009". Ah well, your steps still did not work for me, but I do appreciate you sharing.
