I found if you SELECT the date field, then click on the INSERT tab, then select DATE & TIME, it may still be in US date format. If you change to UK or EU or AUS or NZ etc it should fix it. Like you all my other settings were all not US, so I was pretty baffled. This fixed the problem for me. Hope this helps
