  1. We use a combination of Firewall filtering through a Meraki cisco router and GoGuardian. These may not be set up completely correct but I am trying to figure out the best solution. Since I am part time faculty and my primary job is not tech I am trying to find the most comprehensive way to handle this issue. I don't have a ton of time to sit and research every site to block and that would seem like a loosing battle since new stuff continually pops up. To me it is reactionary to chase the students, I would prefer to open up what is appropriate instead of chase what need to be blocked. Hope that makes sense? Any help is appreciated
  2. I am new to the role of tech manager at our private school. I have successfully blocked apps and extensions on our chromebooks but now the students are playing javascript games. Normally I would not care too much but they are beginning to make it a war to see if they can outsmart the teachers and administrators. And it is becoming a distraction. Chrome management allows you to turn off javascript but that just breaks too much, including google docs which is what all the homework is done on. any suggestions?
