About AcCo1

  1. Thanks for the suggestion Luke S - I'll look into that now as it may be a great way of solving the issue.
  2. Thanks BKGarry...it's not date of entry I'll be using. We're running a new phonics programme in our school and progress is tracked by entering the date when every student passes each stage of the programme. The teachers would like the tracking to be done through a marksheet within SIMS, so I intended to set up each stage as a new Aspect, but I've never seen a marksheet where the result is a date rather than a grade set. I wondered if anyone else had had a similar situation and knew of a way to ensure valid data is entered into the date format. I will look at the course you've mentioned though as it may be very useful going forward and I'm already looking at the SIMS manuals as we speak.
  3. Thanks so much for your reply. I did consider this, but I'm assuming that if I do this there's no validation of the date format or content input into the field? I'm also thinking that I wouldn't be able to use the result to chart progress across the different aspects for each child, due it being a comment field?
  4. Hi All, I'm new to SIMS and setting up a brand new marksheet with associated aspects. My issue is that the aspects won't have a standard grade set attached to them but instead will have a date when that aspect was achieved. How do I do this when setting up the marksheet? Can a grade set have a date format? Apologies for the newbie question - there's probably a simple explanation! Any help much appreciated! TIA
