I had the same problem but with Thunderbird. I was looking for a program to settle this issue and found one. It also helped me to migrate thunderbird to outlook browse this page. Luckily, it has all the necessary features under one umbrella and enables users to move email archives of any size. BTW, there are also products for Gmail. Hope, it will help you!
