Hello,We have a Viewsonic Viewboard (IFP-8650-3A) a mitel phone system (IP485G), an Aver Camera (TR530) a Windows laptop. When we use Google Meets, participants have a hard time hearing others in the room. The people in the room have a hard time hearing participants. We tried a Polycom unit, using the mitel system speaker, the mic and speakers on the laptop, etc and it's just not working the way we want. Our goal is to use Google Meets and have the sound go through the entire room with small mics on the desks so our board members can talk and others online can hear them clearly. We would also like the mics we place on the desk to go into our Aver Camera System so people online can hear them clearly. There are ports on the back of the Aver cameras that are labeled 3D-SGI 2, 3GSDI-1, LINE IN, RS232 if that helps. We currently have a Polycom unit and a Polycom Sound Station 2 for placing these closer on the desks but if we use Google meets no one can hear them clearly and it's just becoming a big pain. If I'm not explaining everything correctly please let me know. I'm very new to this. Also what system do you guys recommend using? Our Budget is pretty good on this say $2,000- $5,000

So we recently bought 20 Lenovo ThinkPad 2nd gen's Seen here https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpade/thinkpad-e15-(amd)/22tpe15e5a2The issue we are having is that when using a projector (Epson Power lite 83+) we randomly a blew screen on the projector that says no signal for 3 seconds then the pictures come back. This happens about every 30-40 secs. We are using something called Rapid Run that goes from the projector to a wall plate then back to the Rapid Run VGA cable. We then have VGA to HDMI adapters. This just started after getting the new laptops. We have tried to change the refresh rate with no luck to fix it. We are using 60HZ. There is a lot of settings in the AMD Radeon software but I'm not familiar with them. Resolution is 1366x768 for the projector I was going to try to connect the laptop directly into one of the projectors to see if it continues to do it. I guess that would narrow it down. Has anyone had any similar issues?

Sorry If I posted this another place. So our school district recently upgraded from our older Macbook Air's to more recent ones that are mostly running Mac Catalina and some are running Big Sur update. The issue we are having is that when we have our smartboard hooked and I allow the permissions to give Smart Notebook and all the files under Accessibility and Input controls. After doing this the board gets detected with the Smart Menu and working perfectly. Random times after removing the USB cable from the laptop and plugging it back in the board doesn't get detected on the laptop by the software. I have to physically reinstall the drivers for the Smart Board and then it picks it up again. This is becoming a huge hassle every time one of the boards decides to not be detected anymore. We are using Smart Notebook 20.1 and have the latest drivers. We didn't have this many issues when he had the old mac's running High Sierra. Please help. Thanks!

So our school has purchased around 15 viewsonic IFP-7550-02 and 03 boards. When using the Vcast app on the board and their installed app on a mac and windows pc it will disconnect several times a period sometimes up to 50 a day. Viewsonic customer support is absolutely terrible . Our WIFI signal is 5 bars in every room and a constant 60mpbs up and down so the WIFI is not the issue. Does anyone know if a fix or have there board? The boards are completely up to date as well as the app on the computers. I'm lost of this issue

Wow View Sonic really dropped the ball on this one. They told me on December 1st it would be out before Christmas then I contacted them on January 5th and they said it would be out January 25th. This is ridiculous

Hello everyone our school has a couple View Sonic IFP7550-2 interactive boards. The freeze function lo longer works so i reached out to the company and they said they know it's a issue and will release a firmware update soon well that was back December 1st and still nothing. This is beyond ridiculous to leave people hanging on this. I was wondering if anyone else has this issues. I'm on firmware IFP7550-2_20191115_091502

I'm not sure where to put this. Our School was contacted by Ident-A-Kid it is a visitor management system that requires parents and visitors to sign in and it does background checks as well. We currently have a system by Lobbyguard that has been very frustrating to use and the support they have is awful. We were possible looking to move to this system. I was wondering if anyone has used this system in schools or has a recommendation on something that is good and reliable.

I replaced the VGA cable from the wall to the laptop and this fixed the issue.

I'm having this issue with this projector. See pictures below. it looks like it's displaying double of everything ever so slightly on the bottom task bar. And on the left side it has this line going down the screen. it's really noticeable on the HP logo. I was going to plug my laptop directly into the projector to see if it's a wiring issue. If that doesn't work is there anything else I can try to eliminate this issue. Thanks.

I'm at a loss with this board. I have upgraded several throughout the school and when I go to update this board I'm greeted with the following. Serial numbers mismatch: Bootloader is EMPTY, application is M06260141 YYYYY with a weird line above the Y's. Also when I open up the hardware settings on the board It has no serial number. I went to another board and didn't have any of these issues. The board is still usable it just looses the orient function every so often and sometimes the pen tray doesn't work.

The NEC Came with a mounting bracket so we just used that. The issue I found yesterday is that the Pen Tray tray has a small little connector looks like the end of a laptop charger that's attached to another serial cable that leads to the projector. I haven't tried the USB cable from the pen tray to the computer. How would the pen tray receive power I'm at a loss sorry. -
We recently purchased a NEC UM361X Projector because the other Projector which was a Smart UF70 went bad. Anyway I was trying to hookup the Smart Board to this projector so the students can have touch control and I'm unable to find any of the connections that go together on the back of this new projector. I'ts leading me to believe that these are not compatible with each other. The connections I'm holding are from the Smart Board.

Thank you for that link. We fixed the Smart Board using your method. Thanks!

The issue we are having is that when using any pen it doesn't matter which color when we start to write it or use it it goes absolutely nuts. It will not write a straight line and it appears to be really off even after a 20 point calibration. I did the trick of removing the pen tray and loosing the screws and adding a plastic washer to reduced the contact of the board and the screws but that didn't help the issue. Also I noticed when just holding your finger on the screen it moves constantly up and down. I have reinstalled the drivers already and the Smart Board says the firmware is up to date.
