Sorry, the phone was sold a while ago. £138.00 to Mazuma or whatever that mobile sites called.

I've checked the vodafone sim in the HTC HD2 and it works fine so it is unlocked to be used on any network.

36degrees has solved it. I did have a quick check through the options within Sanako but didn't see anything. After taking another look i've found the option where you can set it to start after the network login. This has resolved the issue so thanks for that.

Well i've just done a repair using the XP disc and this didn't solve the problem either. Looks like i'm going to have to do a full rebuild, which is a pain as this PC is the crossroad for LAB 300.

I've just done a disc check which doesn't seem to have fixed anything, so I have now put the XP disc in to run through a repair of the windows installation.

When a user logs in, the background services (SOLID I think), starts up.

The only thing that has been installed recently is Media Assistant Duo for the Sanako LAB 300. When i'm logged in as an administrator, the PC log's off fine. It's when a teacher or student account is logged in when we experience this issue. unfortunately, we can't access task manager from either of these accounts. I will un-install Media Assistant Solo although I don't really think it could be this. As this is the main PC for the LAB 300 I am a bit hesitent at doing a full rebuild but I may have no choice.

Thanks for the heads up! I have a Vodafone SIM at home which I will try and reply back here when I've tested it. I'm confident that the HD2 isn't locked to Virign and will work with any sim but I will try the vodafone one anyway.

It currently has my Virgin Sim card in, (which I need to chop up, damn you micro Sim iPhone!) I have just tried a T-Mobile sim card in it so the phone appears to be unlocked.

Hi, Due to me purchasing an iPhone 4 I am selling my HTC HD2. It is 6 months old so there is still 6 months left on the warranty. There are a few little scuff marks on the back which you can;t really notice but the only problem with it, which is why i'm selling it cheap, is that the piece of plastic over the camera lens has a crack in it. Now for some strange reason, this doesn't effect the pictures one bit. The rest of the phone is in excellent condition, the big screen on it has no marks on it what so ever. The phone is in full working order. Comes with a 2gb memory card and charger and in the original box. If you wish to see any pictures of it, or if you want to see a picture taken with the phone so you can see that the crack makes no difference to quality. I am looking for £150.00.

Wow, strange you should mention Sanako, as the affected PC is the teachers PC (Crossroad) for Sanako LAB 300.

Hi, We are having trouble with one PC not logging off. Every other PC on the network is working fine. The problem is, when you are logged in as a domain user, you can't log off. When you click log off, nothing happens and you are just brought back to the desktop. Within a teacher account, they have the option to click restart, which does as advertised and restarts, but the log off does nothing. The PC is fully updated with SP3. I have done a virus scan and found nothing. Strange thing is, if I turn the PC off (by keeping the power button pressed), then boot it back up, I can login, then log off, but then when I log back in again with the same account to test it, the problem has returned. Any ideas on this one?

Another good solution, but we don't have any wireless here at this school.

I believe local devices work with Citrix but we are using a Thin Client image from a company called One Planet Desktop. They are a fairly new company but unfortunately their images don't work with local devices. So as you can probably imadgine we've had difficutlies with printers, eBeams, Data loggers, even some USB pen drives.

Good thinking, but I probably should have explained in more detail in my original post. Basically, we have four classrooms that have just been converted over to Thin Clients. Each PC originally had a local USB printer attached to it, but obviously now the machines are Thin Clients, the local printers no longer work, hence my search for print servers. Amazon.com sell the Linksys PSUS4 but they won't ship oversees due to warranty restrictions with that product.
