We are looking to supplement the Network Services Department and to recruit for the following positions. NETWORK MANAGER We are looking for the above to join the Network Service team led by a Head of Network Services; you will be responsible for all aspects of the network infrastructure, including switching, wireless infrastructure, IP phones, SAN, physical and virtual servers, and managing server based services such as AD, GPO, NPS, Exchange and the Microsoft Office365 environment. Knowledge of Exchange, SQL, Active Directory, Cisco, Aerohive, Mimecast, PaperCut, Palo Alto Firewalls would be advantageous. The Network Manager will need to assist in the development of the school’s on-going Information Systems strategy so strong communication and written skills are essential. ASSISTANT NETWORK MANAGER We are looking for the above to join the Network Service team led by a Head of Network Services; you will be responsible for the creation, management support of users and computers using Active Directory, GPO, and as part of the Microsoft Office365 and Azure cloud. The role also includes joint responsibility for 1st and 2nd line support requests, and to support the work of the Head of Network Services and Network Manager in the ongoing maintenance of the systems, servers and infrastructure. 40 hours per week, to be agreed with the Head of Network Services and worked between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday and 08:30 to 13:00 Saturday. During term time there will be a requirement to work on Saturday morning on a rota with other members of the team. This is a key role providing a strategic and comprehensive oversight of all systems, as well as ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of IT services across the school.
