Thats fair enough, are you not concerned about it being cloud based? we have been trying to avoid cloud based software as much as possible

thank you @mavhc, that looks like it would be handy, ill have to contact them and see if they could look at something that doesn't mean I have to buy additional licence for every classroom as @p858snake is right, that would make the fees way to much

That is a lot of library computers for a primary school, but I suppose we may just be a smaller school than yourself. why would every computer in the school need access? what is opac?

You would have to ask them why they don't publish the additional licence price, my best guess would to either avoid confusion or maybe they quote you on how many extra licences you want, ie the more you want the cheaper they get They did tell us that it is based on there QuickTrack Asset Tracking software, but they charge schools less than normal. We allow older students to use the software to book there items in and out, but they told us recently they are adding a new Users function that will block students from accessing 75% of the features and just allow them access to the booking screen

How many computers do you have in your library Plus im sure they mentioned additional licence for the same site are available cheaper if you email them

Wow reading some of these comments I'm glad we never needed MLS support, we got out of there as soon as they tried switching us to the cloud service, I didn't want my data stored on someones else's servers. We switched to QuickTrack Pro for Schools for £157 pa and it is all stored locally with great support. they also listen to feedback and are happy to modify the software if they can see the benefit of the update

We are using QuickTrack Pro and the software guides you through the setup and the basic setup was finished in less that 30 minutes and then just needed to import the CSV files exported from MLS which the Peninsula Technicians helped me to export.

We use Peninsula's QuickTrack Pro for Schools and there tech support are very engaged in helping you fix your issue and even modified their software to do add a new feature for me
