We dropped ParentMail. Financially it was obviously worth it, but the people using the replacement features in Arbor Pay, find it lacking and cumbersome in a multitude of ways. Once you get passed the 'its a new system so it'll take a minute to adjust', there are still a few caveats about how Arbor works that doesn't flow with our old processes, and aligning to Arbor's process is hard for our finance policies.

On Wednesday we will have our next hand-over of 'The Key,' Where a massive key with a hideous lanyard is passed on. The current owner has to pick someone they deem worthy of the key and give a short speech as to why they deserve it. They then get a term to decide who to give it to and be bricking it about giving a speech. What weird traditions go on in your workplace?
