About GCA

  1. done that with a laptop and it worked, in a domain so firewall is off and the ports are open Also checked it agaist another AP next to it on the same swtich. all config are the same and this one works. I think there is an issue with that ip address but i cannot find answer Telnet comes up with connection refused
  2. HI, I have my Wi-Fi AP listed in the RADIUS Clients however some of them will not connect If I change the IP address of the AP and create a new record they connect. If I then change the IP of the AP back and updated the new record they do not connect. Any ideas? I am at a loss
  3. Hi, I been having event ID 16 A RADIUS message with the code field set to 12, which is not valid, was received on port 1812 from RADIUS client "AP NAME" Valid values for the RADIUS Code field are documented in the TFC 2865. We have a Xirrus system which is configured to two Vlans Corp and Guest, the SSID's are setup with the radius IP and password, the Radius server has the AP name/IP/Password in the RADIUS clients but some of our AP's show "not connected" to either corp or guest or both in some cases. Any suggestions??
  4. sorted it, my mistake on the disable / not configure. This is really useful!
  5. Also how do you remove the setting after it has been applied? Simply disable or not configure does not work. The settings still stay.
  6. Can it be done at a user level or only a computer level. Problem is, if we do this it effects Admin's as well when they log in. It is a really silly mistake from MS as there is nothing in GPO that can do this.
  7. Yes done all three, I am trying to remove the View part of the ribbon as it keeps allow out pupils to show hidden files. It might be as it trying to do this at a computer config and not a user config in GPO ??
  8. Hello, I have added it to my GPO, however they are still showing the settings
