  1. We use the latest version of Oliver and have AR integration and aren't experiencing any problems at all. Which version of Oliver are you on?
  2. afternoon all, I mentioned that our librarian switched to Oliver from Softlink in the new year and I have to say that so far it has been an extremely positive move for us. They use AWS and the speed in comparison to when we had Eclipse is like chalk and cheese, the librarian has been able to run reports extremely quickly (for the first time in a long time!) and students are using the system on their own devices both online and with the mobile app. I really would recommend giving them a call if you are considering other options, their technical team have been first class in responding to me and the move across went very smoothly indeed. Price wise they were cheaper than some others that we were looking at and also from some of the comments on here their pricing is very competitive. One final thing - they offered us the chance to go local install as well but as a school it just made more sense to have it hosted but it was nice to have the option.
  3. I would be interested to know how you get on with that, we were considering Accessit too but were put off by having to have it installed locally.
  4. Switched to a hosted Oliver system a couple of weeks ago, system is really fast and librarian is very happy - well priced compared to eclipse and would highly recommend!
  5. That's interesting to hear, the girl from MLS has been calling the librarian non stop this week. Just wondering what they might try and offer us to stay... how did they swing it to stop you from going with AccessIT?
  6. Check out Softlink - Oliver / getting some great feedback from the schools in our area that have switched to it from Eclipse and Accessit
  7. Thanks for the feedback but I think she wants to go with Oliver, a number of schools in our area have switched to it from AccessIT and MLS and were a lot more impressed with the speed of the system (on AWS so no lag time at all) and functionality - She tells me the reports she can run with Oliver are miles ahead of the ones available with AccessIT and the interface appears to be more engaging - students can leave reviews, have book recommendations based on individual borrowing history etc. Going hosted, Linking with SIMS, Data migration - prices were highly competitive in comparison to others mentioned on here.
  8. My librarian isn't happy with MLS either and has been looking at Softlink - Does anyone know much about them? Prices she mentioned seemed competitive
