Hi Has anyone had any problems any registering ipads via Lightspeed through Ruckus? Lightspeed is not picking up the identity of the ipad, just GUID. We have checked with the local authority and lightspeed but they are saying it is an internal issue. Any ideas? Many thanks Kathy

Hi Does anyone know how to encypt a macbook when it is dual booted, so that on the main startup you put password in? They are Staff Macbooks that need access to school network, they're running Snow Leopard. Many thanks Kathy

Thanks for the reply. I appear to have just sorted it by going to the burnt cd in 'itunes' and clicking on the number column and it has re-arranged the tracks in the correct order, even though when it was first burnt it was scrambled. Must have some setting wrong, as I know I have done it before on another mac. Thanks for the other advice too, re burning. Kathy

Hi Does anyone know how to make itunes burn a MP3 playlist in the order that you have put it in. I have tried right clicking the playlist - copy to play order and burn playlist and the other way doing a straight burn - it still scrambles the tracks. I have also tried making sure the arrow is pointing upwards in the number colum. I need to try and sort urgently as need it for a school production this week. Many thanks

Hi All We are a primary school based in Stockport and our year 6 are due to put on the show ' Joseph and his Technicolour Dream Coat. Please can anyone recommend a decent wireless microphone set ( need 2) We have no technical knowledge in this area so would be very grateful for advice and how they work and what they plug into? I have just looked at Maplins Twin UHF Professional Handheld Wireless Mic System > Maplin - would this be ok or can anyone suggest another supplier? Hi, Our primary school joined Radio Anywhere in February and we've found it very good and simple to use. Think their training package and equipment is expensive though. We asked if we could join... just to use them as a host for our podcasts. We had used other free sites but found problems with streaming etc and adverts. Think we paid £350 for initial setup and then each year it will be £250, not cheap! Parents love it and they can leave messages. Kathy

Hi all, We have recently bought a pc for showing school video's and powerpoints throughout the day. It is placed in a corridor ( bolted down !!). My headteacher has asked if I can find a way of having a welcome message running across the top of the programme, saying welcome to our school etc etc. I think we'd like something similar to a news ticker. I've had a brief look on the net and all I can find is tickers for web site's not pc's. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Kathy

Hi all, Hope I've posted this in the right part of the forum. We've got a few old acer laptops around the school that need new keys, one of our faulty laptop is used for parts only, so i decided to try and replace a key on to one of the working laptops and now I don't know how to put it back on! I've done a few google searches and come up with a great site but the photo's don't appear http://www.laptopkeys.co.uk. The underside of the key is totally flat now, but there are some attachments on it but they aren't sprung up so I can't re-attach back onto the keyboard layout. Help....don't think the teacher will be very impressed when I give her her laptop back minus the 'E' key! Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks Kathy

Thanks for the replies, I think an iriver is a good bet but really think I may need one with external mic facility unless you think the sound recording quality would be good enough?
