    The latest entry level camcorder don't have an external mic anymore. Therefore you find the more expensive ones with the external mic input. e.g the Canon Vixia HFR800 had the external mic input but the replacement Canon Vixia HF R806 doesn't have the mic port.

    I use a company in Essex that does installation for me, but I am unsure if he does repairs. However if you need a replacement PM me. The Benq 65" RP653 are great.
