Hi all,
Is there a way of using the raspberry pi for digital signage , we currently run xibo for our windows device however online forums says the pi isn't supported or it's too difficult.
Any suggestions other than screenly help as we're looking for a free alternative
Thankyou !
Microsoft forms? It can limit people to just one response per person however it's not anonymous. Staff can also use it on mobile too, just follow the link and it's free since you're already using 365. Thinking outside the box with this one ... kahoot?
Hi Liam,
Have you tried asking other people that you work with, say a third party company. Sometimes getting in touch with the managing director can really help! I know a great company if you need, just send me a message
Thanks
Hi All,
We seem to be having issues with the Linx 1010 tablets running LTSB 1607, login times are taking past 2 minutes to log in and thats with a USB to Ethernet port too! The devices have their drivers up to date and when using a laptop or a computer log in times are at most 40 seconds. Pupils and staff are slowly giving up booking them out as the log on times and the speed of the devices are really slow.
Any suggestions on how to improve log in speeds will be a massive help!
Thanks in advanced
Thank you for your input Liam much appreciated! As much as I'd love to talk to my line manager to address this, he's always off on holiday or ignoring the core IT team. Thanks anyway !
Hi All,
Is it possible to use the microsoft photos app on Windows 10 LTSB or is it impossible due to not having the windows store. In light of the new photos companion it would work great for ipads
Thanks in advanced
where's the start layout pulling the profiles from? we had something similar and found that rather than pointing the layout to look at programs in the server, have them point to the start menu instead. I hope this helps
yep, same with us using and we're using a log in script, no set patterns or specific PCs. It just happens randomly, restart does do it however we just add them manually back if they're in the middle of something
Hi All,
First post here as normally find the answers without needing to ask! We are running Windows 10 LTSB 1607 and quite recently we've noticed printers not mapping on log-in. We haven't changed a thing so was wondering if anyone knows if there's been a update or anything causing this issue
Thanks in advanced
