  1. Personal all the GDPR should be in place anyway with Data Protection , have always said USB are the worst form to save any data for the chance of Loss and Damage if encrypted or not plus the biggest risk to a network for infection and virus spreading, Personally a lot is a Cash cow for company and LEA scaring school in to wasting money, when they have 365 office Free and each user have access and it secure and there accountable to the data if they share , plus backed up and safe and cant loss, along with data stored in UK ,
  2. these are all stored Locally and not roaming profiles either have even set up new profile for the user and that will not load yet domain admin will its a odd one as the user was able to logon fine it just stopped ?
  3. i will give that a go think i tried that before but will try when on site tomorrow before i have the wipe and rebuild thanks
  4. Hi there been getting this same error a few time on some win 7 units The User Profile Service service failed to logon. User profile cannot be loaded. I have tried the regedit option and even reinstall windows on to happens again happens on random pc no Patton so not sure why , have tried setting up new profile they will not load and ideas only way i can fix is fully wipe and reinstall OS
  5. Loads 50% Free as it even dose it after a fresh install of window 7 and SP1
  6. i have tried that fix it dont work on a Domain unit as it will not even let the user logon to make a Profile entry to do that fix
  7. anyone else had a issue with The User Profile Service failed the logon had a couple do this after a user logged on and the no one can access , Network admin works fine tried all the reg fixes no joy had to fresh build the system to fix , worked on one unit but as soon as SIMS in class deployed on the other i get the issue again and will have to rebuild that unit as cant get it to log any other user on
  8. Have it going via User Config>Windows>Reg> ? proxy.bmp
  9. Hi All anyone had issues with GPO to pushing out Proxy setting. we have it set to send out the proxy via GPO to the REG of each User. yet IE11 say no proxy detected , Chrome on the same unit works , ? we did have AB tutor running i pulled that out in case it was that but not the case, we running Policy central and Sophos which also seem to have a strange issue that staff see the students AUP even tho in staff group and AUP on them is set to Hide.. not sure if its all connected
  10. Hi all can remember the fix for this issue the students have a Home drive on the server they save to eg the H drive example (\\server1\students\12smith) for some reason now some are being renamed to My documents , i remember a fix for this a few years back but cant seem to locate the fix . anyone help John

  13. we do have guidlines in place im just seeing why they would want to us this site and enter data, one it free i understand but they must get somthink out of it and the data would be profit for them to sell on, Thanks nice to know in not allowen with this thinking
  14. do you use this in your school then that the main question i agree you dont have to eneter the students data but (what if some one has or did) this is my issues im investigating currently . what i would like to know if anyone else uses this site in a School, it not the coding side im worried about its the Tracking data if a member of staff uses that option there major concerns on this.
  15. you need to registure to use the site you cant get in with out a login
