  1. Hi all, Pupils absent following a positive PCR Covid-19 test are now coded as an "I" along with other illnesses. Does this mean if a school or MAT wanted to analyse the proportion impact of Covid-related absences, these ""I" coded sessions can't be separated from other illnesses? X codes are still used for unconfirmed Covid-symptoms and other Covid-releated absences, so that data is still within SIMS. It just seems that the latest change means that Confirmed PCR absences are rolled into all "I" illnesses. One solution I guess is to record sessions missed per pupil due to positive PCRs on a spreadsheet but that is not ideal.
  2. Does SIMS allow for actual progress measures to be uploaded into it from the tables checking site? We're part of a MAT who are using a 3rd party package to visualise data across the Trust and they want to be able to lift assessment data from SIMS but progress measures (or indeed any special consideration marks added to scaled scores) aren't stored there. I was also thinking that the MIS should be our place of record of KS2 SATS, rather than CSVs.
