If you setup Mobility Print with a subzone (for example pc-printer-discovery.), ensure that the is included in the list of DNS search domains on your Android device. This is usually returned from your DHCP server.
I am a little confused with your last sentence "Looks like it may have been some rogue DHCP scope settings on a second server." Did you mean that you have multiple Mobility Print server installations?
