Just wondering if anyone has tried this (or an update on the above post) ?

Thank you for your comments - much appreciated. I think the best way forward will be to have separate staff and student lists (with a salutation for staff).

We use Exchange 2007 with staff and students listed in the GAL with forename,surname - it's always been this way and the staff don't seem to mind their forenames are being published. We have a couple of members of staff that share the same names with students. How do other schools differentiate members of staff from students in their Global Address Lists ?
