Hi, Sorry to jump in. My boot menu is only showing windows boot manager. Boot priority in bios has only that option and i don't know how to add others. I am trying to boot to network using usb to Ethernet converter. Any idea how to do this? Would really appreciate any help. Thank you

I have used Recuva but it didn't bring anything up however when restoring instead of choosing usb I have restored it to a different folder. Does it matter?

Hi Member of SLT in my school still uses USB with her mac. Today she came to me saying half of the files from are gone. I have uploaded whats left to onedrive to make sure its backed up and noticed .spotlight folder (it is hidden folder I am assuming). On USB itself are 3 what it looks like corrupted files (see pic attached). Is it possible to get missing files back? Appreciate any advice. Thank you M PS: I had conversation with the person about not using USB many times!!!!!!!!!

Already done. Run Avast and Malwarebytes scans. Nothing came up

So... I run this in terminal defaults delete com.google.Chrome plus policy name. It worked! Until i have restarted the mac that is.... Issue came back This must mean that whatever is causing this is installed on the mac but I have no idea how to find it. I will have start uninstalling programs one by one to see what the issue is unless someone has got other ideas.

Well to be honest I was trying to avoid this. Only been given this today. Nothing is backed up at the moment. I will take it home and back it up and if I wont find any other solution I will have to do re install

Hi, No other profiles than user's and guest that is not active. This is very odd and absolutely drives me mad. No idea where they have purchased it from but I think it was brand new.
