After you have replaced the lamp with an new one; do the following.
Make sure the projector has power and turn it "ON"
Press the "menu" button on the remote
Go to the "To default setting 1 menu" and press the "enter" key on the remote
Scroll down until you see "Beep" and turn beep on ( You should hear the beep when it is turn "on")
Turn off the projector by pressing twice the power button on the remote ( you will hear two beeps)
Point the remote to the projector and press and hold down the up key until you hear a beep. Then press the down key until you hear two beeps and that should do it.
