Hi The college where I work are insisting they put McAfee and Impero on our suite of 40+ iMacs. They vary in age and spec and I wondered if anybody had an experience or thoughts on the impact this might have. From browsing various forums it doesn't look encouraging. I should also say the intention is to integrate the Macs into the college wide network, which of course, is PC based. Up to now we've been totally separate and the Macs have been stand alone editing stations. Sorry if this a naive post and question but I am resistant to the proposals and wish we could carry on as we are!

Have you tried resetting the PRAM? Hold down P R Alt and Cmd keys directly after the first chime and then hold until you hear the second chime.
