Did anyone else get an email from TES recently to say that they were going to change the login method for parents? It says that it will no longer use the method of matching on details and instead parents will need to set up their own password. Fair enough, that seems more secure. But they haven't said when or how much notice we will get. I asked customer support and one of them has said we will get a message once it has happened - as if they are not going to give us any notice of the change, so for all I know it could be in the middle of an online parents evening. Did you understand the situation in the same way? I couldn't quite believe what I was reading, I hope I have misunderstood!

I am a new data manager in a new school, so trying to get my head around everything. We have got our CTFs imported after having to ask all the primary schools to re-send them because something went wrong with our S2S account over the summer. Now the Head is asking me about getting some KS2 assessment data out of the NCA Tools website for our Year 7s. Having had a look at the NCA Tools website, what I can see looks the same as the KS2 results that came in on the CTFs. Am I missing something? The Head also said something about narrative assessments written by the Year 6 teachers last year - would they be available to the secondary schools? Sorry to be so clueless!
