hi thanks for the help, but that hasn't resolved the problem because the user can log on a different laptop and the drive is mapped correctly, certain machines at not mapping the drive letter

Hi, I hope that someone can help as i can't seem to find the answer anywhere. The problem that i have is student jo blogs logs on one laptop and the student share drive appears but says' access denied. Then jo blogs logs on another laptop and the student share drive is working fine. When checking the gpresult I can see that on both machines the drives have mapped. I don't really know what is causing the problem or how to resolve it. I will assume it has something to do with the laptop??? The machine is a Windows 7 32 bit pro dell Laptop 5530 running Windows Server 2012 PLEASE COULD YOU HELP
